I have a very special field of wildflowers near my house, and it always makes me think of the Columbine, a very pretty and unique wildflower. Not the kind of field where people have those fancy rose bushes and such. But rather a field of wildflowers, and among them, the wild Columbine blooms. These wild columbines, however, are pretty special. This field is not some kind of fancy park or botanical garden; it’s a patch of nature that’s a welcome treat. The Columbine always look very delicate, with pretty purple, white, yellow, and red blossoms. If I’m lucky, I’ll also find some Columbine-filled landscapes nearby and get to see how different their flowers are depending on the variety. There's something interesting about how plants, even seemingly random ones, can be so beautiful.
